Always enjoy playing this one, particularly in the summer....Course is very walkable, layout appears more benign than it is - there are some testing holes on this track, particularly when you get on the back nine, and the breeze strengthens. The ambiance coming in on the last three holes is superb. Excellent facilities in terms of food and beverages.

Nice playing the holes along the water/bay and under/near the Coronado Bridge.

Coronado is special for a Muni. It is kept in great shape, lots of walkers and the locals know that this is the BEST deal in San Diego County. If you are visiting and want to play, you can get a tee time by calling two days before or if you are a single, walk on and your wait might be an hour. Well worth the wait.

This is a San Diego jewel. The locals have the priority tee times and know how "the system" works to get on. Once you're on, the place is terrific. Relatively easy, flat (so its great for walking), temperate climate makes Coronado a vacation haven year-round.

Fun golf course for a value price. Very busy course because of this. Great layout on a beautiful piece of waterfront land. #4 is interesting in that it is a par 5 with two greens, one to the right which plays a bit longer and one to the left that is somewhat shorter.

This course is always in pristine condition. I played 36 holes in a tournament here recently and did not have even close to a bad lie at any time.

What's not to love about this course. Great views, Great price, good layout. The course is flat (makes for easy walking) and mostly straight on the front 9. The back nine is a little tougher. As long as you don't make any huge mistakes you should shoot a decent round.

For 15 bucks, it could have been a goat pasture. Instead it was a well maintained muni, with a nice competent staff. It is on an island in Coronado and it started out misting. The unusual weather may have accounted for a quick pace of play-about 3 and a half hours for a foursome. You have a fair amount of bad golfers out there, but they know to keep up the pace and pick up to not hold anyone up. I played it Monday and Wednesday. I am on vacation, by myself and it was an easy place to pick up a game.

Coronado is tough to get on, but once you are playing this course you will never forget it. The layout runs along the Harbor and you have great views of the Bay Bridge, marinas and historical sites.
It is hard to keep you mind on golf. An absolute "must play" while in the San Diego area.

A little slow, so we weren't able to finish 17 or start 18 in 4 1/2 hours.

Been playing this course for 20 years. It never grows old and remains the best value in the San Diego area.

Good solid course usually in good condition. You can't beat the views and the greens. Unusually hard to get on, particularly on the weekends.
